Quorn welcome Whitby Town to Farley Way in what will be their second home game in a week.

Quorn’s Form:

The Reds travelled to Lancaster City last Saturday and played out an entertaining 2-2 draw. A few days later on Tuesday, they welcomed Gainsborough Trinity to Farley Way for the first time and replicated Saturday’s result playing out another 2-2 draw. There were first goals for Peter Abimbola and Theo Robinson, with the latter scoring a well-taken penalty.

The Opposition:

Whitby Town’s first trip to Farley Way comes after a struggling start to their campaign. The Seasiders sit just above the relegation zone with six points from six games. The Seasiders started the season with a 2-1 away win against Leek Town, before a 2-0 home defeat to Guiseley. A few days after they played at home again, this time to Ilkeston Town who they beat 2-0. The third 2-0 scoreline in a row came a few days after, in a 2-0 defeat away to Ashton United. The last two outings for the Seasiders have seen heavy defeats 5-0 to Warrington Town and 6-0 to high-flying Cleethorpes Town. Whitby will be looking to set the record straight at Farley Way this weekend.

The Reds have never faced The Seasiders before.

One-to-Watch:

Town’s new club captain Stuart Rose is one to watch. The 34-year-old comes to Whitby with vast experience in non-league and is the only player to score more than one goal for The Seasiders so far this term. His previous club Boro Rangers was a successful time with a particularly impressive season in 24/25 becoming their leading goalscorer and he’s shown over the years that he is a goal-getter.
