Quorn travel to Yorkshire for a face off against a Guiseley side who sit fifth in the table.

Quorn’s Form:

Quorn have had a decent run of form in the last two games. A fantastic win against Ilkeston, 2-0 on Bank Holiday Monday, was then capped off with a tremendous win against local rivals Shepshed Dynamo. Despite The Dynamo being in the league below, they came to Farley Way with lots of fight and The Reds can be delighted to have come through a tough encounter winning 2-1. A day of history for The Reds, with fans showing up in numbers to create a record attendance of 1,004.

The Opposition:

Guiseley have had a very good start to their step three campaign and find themselves currently in a playoff spot. The month of August came to and end with a commanding 4-0 win for The Lions away from home against Emley. Before that, The Lions lost 2-1 at home to Lancaster City. Prior to that though, The Lions had impressive wins, 3-0 at home to Stockton Town and 2-1 away to Curzon Ashton.

Head-to-Head:

The Reds have never faced off against The Lions before with Saturdays away clash being the first.

One-To-Watch:

35-year-old veteran forward Aaron Martin is one to look out for. Martin has five goals for Guiseley so far this term and will be a threat going forward. Martin has played for some notable non-league clubs including National League side Harrogate Town whilst they were in the Football League. Two years after his move to the Football League, he spent time with Halifax Town on loan before completing a permanent move to Gateshead. A short spell followed before moves to South Shields, Worksop Town and a summer move to Guiseley this year.
