After an impressive display at St. Ives, the Reds head east again, looking to solidify their place in the top five.
Quorn’s Form:
Ryan Beswick’s side have been on a good recent run, with the 4-1 reverse at Halesowen Town interrupting a spell of good performances. Most recently Quorn won 4-1 at St. Ives Town at the weekend, with goals from Simeon Cobourne, Finn O’Boyle, Zak Goodson and Deen Master. Prior to the those two matches the Reds had secured a couple of cleansheets with home wins against Bishop’s Stortford (1-0) and Stamford (2-0).
The Opposition:
Bury Town are one of the form teams in the league, with just one defeat since the start of December 2025. In the twelve matches since then, the Blues have won six and drawn five, with just the 1-0 defeat away to Banbury United blotting their copy book recently. Strangely though, Town have drawn 1-1 in each of their previous four home games (Stourbridge, Bromsgrove Sporting, Leiston and Needham Market). Those draws are the only ties that Bury have had at home in the league, with six wins and five defeats in the previous 11 league games at the Getaway Cars Stadium. The Blues have earned 22 points at home, which is the same as on their travels.
Head-To-Head:
Quorn go into this game with the psychological edge, having beaten The Blues in the reverse fixture already this season. This is the only recorded fixture between the two clubs. It was a 2-0 result for Quorn at Farley Way, with loanee Kai Fifield opening the scoring just before the break and Zak Goodson sealing the victory in the 71st minute.
One to watch:
Bury Town have three players on seven goals this season, Oliver Canfer, George Quantrell and Jamie McGrath. Since joining from Needham Market, McGrath has struck those seven goals in just 17 matches, including in the 1-1 draw against his former club. After scoring four in a three match spell, that goal versus Market is his only strike in the past six matches.
