After an impressive display at home, The Reds travel to the east, aiming to get back-to-back wins for the first time since December.
Quorn’s Form:
Ryan Beswick’s side showed stellar resolve last time out, beating Stamford with two goals, one coming from Jacob Fenton, who continues to impress since signing for the Methodists. It was a much-needed win that launched Quorn into fourth place. Despite the recent struggles, the Reds away form remains incredibly impressive, with only Spalding United earning more points on the road. Through 14 away games, Quorn have eight wins, three draws and three defeats. The most recent trip was two weeks ago at Royston Town, when the Reds took all three points in a 2-1 win, which ended closer than it should have as the Crows piled on the pressure in the last 15 minutes, and scored a consolation penalty to set up a dramatic finish.
The Opposition:
Bury Town have done exceptionally well recently, going undefeated in their last eight games. The streaky Blues had a five-game stretch prior to that where they failed to win.
Their last loss came against Stratford Town all the way back in November, a 2-1 defeat at home. The Blues have only dropped points twice in 2026. Their most recent result a 1-1 draw against Leiston and the same scoreline at home to Bromsgrove Sporting. The eight game unbeaten streak has sent four wins; at home to Barwell and away to AFC Sudbury, Alvechurch and St. Ives Town.
This amazing run of form has put The Blues thirteenth in the league, a great showing after being promoted last season.
Head-To-Head:
Quorn go into this game with the psychological edge, having beaten The Blues in the reverse fixture already this season. This is the only recorded fixture between the two clubs.
It was a 2-0 result for Quorn at Farley Way, with loanee Kai Fifield opening the scoring just before the break and Zak Goodson sealing the victory in the 71st minute.
One to watch:
Oliver Canfer has performed very well in recent games. He has scored three times in a row coming into this fixture and six times overall this season. Canfer first played for the club in 2015 but left, returning as they won promotion last season.
