U23s UPDATE: Young Reds Step Up

Quorn Football Club have received confirmation from the Notts Senior League that their treble-winning Under 23s have been placed in Division One for next season and will compete in senior men’s football.

Having won the Development Division and a cup double, which saw them compete with division three sides, the Under 23s applied for a place in division one or two for the upcoming season, with confirmation of their placement received at the recent League AGM.

The side will compete in the eighteen team first division, just two steps below the non-league pyramid, facing several reserve sides and others that have recently competed in the Notts Senior League Premier Division. The season is set to kick-off on the weekend of Saturday the 8th of August, with fixtures to be announced soon. The full line-up for the division is;

AFC Parrabellum, AJ Sports, Ashland Rovers, Bilborough TRD, Calverton Miners Welfare, Clifton All Whites Reserves, Cotgrave Reserves, East Leake Robins, Elston United, FC Cavaliers, Grantham Town Reserves, Hucknall Town Reserves, Keyworth United Reserves, PMG Excel, Quorn Reserves, Radcliffe Olympic, Ravenshead, Wollaton Reserves.
