SQUAD NEWS: Stretton Signing Strengthens Squad

Quorn Football Club have announced the signing of young midfielder Brad Stretton from Bromsgrove Sporting.

Having joined Coventry City as a seven year old, Stretton rose through the ranks at their Academy and after impressing in the Under-18s agreed his first professional contract at the age of 17. Whilst no competitive first team appearances were recorded, Brad was an unused substitute in the Championship and scored for City in a pre-season friendly against Leamington.

At the end of his two year deal, Stretton impressed in a trial period with National League North Oxford City, scoring four goals in pre-season, most notably a hat-trick against Kings Langley at Court Place Farm. After spells with Alvechurch and Stratford Town, Stretton settled at Bromsgrove Sporting, making 23 appearances for the Rouslers this season. As well as joining Quorn last week, Stretton also dual-registered with Bedworth United.
