SQUAD NEWS: Samples Exit Confirmed

Quorn Football Club have confirmed that, fan favourite, Jack Samples has left Farley Way. After 135 appearances and seven goals, across four seasons, the full back, who was virtually ever-present in the NPL Midlands Division winning season, will remain with Shepshed Dynamo, who he joined on dual-registration last year.

Jack’s final appearance for the Reds was in the 8-0 demolition of Sherwood Colliery in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup last season. Having started the season at left back, Samples collided with Tom Allsopp away to Worcester City on opening day, and had to come off injured, losing his place in the starting eleven to Deen Master, who did not relinquish the number three shirt.

Everyone at Quorn would like to take this opportunity to thank Jack for his time as a Red, in which he was a key part in two promotions in three seasons, and wish him all the best for the future.
