SQUAD NEWS: Kee Man Returns

Quorn Football Club are delighted to announce that Billy Kee will return to the Reds for another season. Kee joined Quorn in the 2023/24 season, making 12 appearances, without scoring. It took another eight games before the prolific front man broke his duck, but he did so in style, scoring a hat-trick in a 6-0 demolition of Bedworth United as he helped fire the Methodists to the NPL Midlands division title.

Kee was back to his industrious best last season, leading the line for Quorn before injury saw him miss much of the second half of the campaign. In total, Billy has made 55 appearances for the Reds, scoring ten times. “I’m delighted to be staying” revealed Kee, continuing “after what we did last season we want to kick on again. We know it’s going to be tough and not many of us know a lot about this league, but that was similar to last season and we gave it a good go. For me personally, I like the fact we’ve been written off already by most, it drives me to prove people wrong, everybody has to give everything every week for us to have a chance of survival, but that’s exactly what we’ll do.”
