SQUAD NEWS: Cox Up For Another Season

Quorn Football Club are delighted to announce the retention of Luke Cox. The athletic central defender is set to renew his partnership with Mason Frizelle as the Reds prepare for the move into the Northern Premier League Premier Division.

A summer signing in 2025, Cox made 35 appearances last season, playing through the pain of a high-ankle sprain in order to help the Reds secure the Challenge Cup Final at Holmes Park in May. Cox had already missed time after breaking his foot in the derby clash at Barwell just after Christmas. Luke’s absence coincided with a dip in form that ultimately saw the Reds lose ground on the playoffs.

“I’m looking forward to getting going again” said Cox, continuing “I want to help the club have another season competing at the top end of the table”
