SQUAD NEWS: Goncalves Departs

Quorn Football Club can confirm that Rodrigo Goncalves has departed the Stotto Stadium. “Rodders” made 10 appearances this season, scoring once, a deflected effort in the 5-2 win at home to Stratford Town. An injury disrupted his start to the season and spell dual-registered with Aylestone Park followed.

Goncalves joined the Reds during the NPL Midlands Division winning campaign, scoring twice in 24 appearances, including a vital goal away to Sutton Coldfield Town. The forward was an important part of the title winning side and leaves Farley Way with the gratitude of all at the club for his contribution.

Rodrigo will link up with Wisbech Town, close to his Cambridgeshire home. Everyone at the club would like to take this opportunity to him for his time as a Red and wish him all the best for the future.
