SQUAD NEWS: “Fenton, Fenton!”

Quorn Football Club have added to their attacking options with a familiar face. Jacob Fenton joins from Belper Town, but is best known to Reds fans for being top-scorer at Anstey Nomads last season. Fenton scored an impressive 24 times as the Nomads finished third in the table, losing in the playoff semi-finals at home to Worcester City. With a summer move to the Nailers, who moved from the NPL East into the Midlands division, Fenton has helped his new club into second place, pushing for promotion with league-leaders Carlton Town.

Jacob came through Lincoln City’s youth ranks and scored plenty of goals in spells with Bourne Town, Bottesford Town and Sleaford Town before joining the Nomads and really establishing himself in step four. So far this season with Belper Town he has scored five in 21 appearances.

Welcome to Farley Way Jacob.
