SQUAD NEWS: Deja-Vu as Jaiden Joins

Quorn Football Club have completed a hat-trick of Jaiden’s with the signing of former Norwich City youngster Jaiden Owen.

Born in Stockport, Jaiden soon moved to Bedfordshire, where he took up Sunday Football and came to the attention of The Hatters, joining Luton Town’s Academy system. A spell with Lincoln City followed, before signing his first professional contract with the Canaries. Jaiden’s proudest moments include playing youth level football for Wales.

“This is a good club” stated Owen when asked about joining the Reds, “there’s a good work ethic here and the coaching staff have been really good.” Jaiden might be familiar to some Quorn fans, having faced off against the Methodists in preseason, featuring for Spalding United in their 3-0 win at Farley Way in mid-July. The aim is simply to be the best we can be. I have no doubt that we’ll constantly compete and drive each other on as a team.”
