Quorn welcome Workington to Farley Way for the first time in what looks to be an exciting match as the Methodists hope to build on their recent good run whilst the other Reds will be intent on maintaining their place in the top five.
Quorn’s Form:
After an impressive 4-2 win away at Bamber Bridge, The Reds were back at home on Tuesday night to welcome Ashton United. The Methodists were a goal behind at the break and then went two down mid-way through the second half but fought back brilliantly to 2-2 for a well-earned point. Freddie Cook scored his first for the club as the draw was enough to keep the Reds outside the relegation zone on goal difference.
The Opposition:
Workington have had a very impressive start to the season and sit in fifth place in the league. Workington also played out a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night, away at Warrington Town. This was their second draw in a row with a 1-1 draw against the current league leaders Cleethorpes Town at the weekend. Also known as the Reds, the last league win for Workington came away to Emley, where they secured a 3-1 victory.
Head-to-Head:
This will be the first meeting between the two teams
