Quorn will travel to Warrington Rylands for the first time, looking for their first three points of the season.

Quorn’s Form:

After a disappointing first two matches losing 2-1 to Avro and 5-0 to Cleethorpes, The Reds claimed a positive result when they got a draw against newly promoted side Redcar Athletic at home. Skipper Mason Frizelle opened his account for the season to put The Reds ahead, but a late equaliser, plus The Reds going down to ten men ensured the points would be shared. A spirited performance has shown that Ryan Beswick’s side can dig in and will be hoping for another positive result against The Blues.

The Opposition:

The Blues started off the season with a fantastic result against FC United of Manchester, demolishing the Red Rebel’s 3-0. They have had a tough patch in the two games that have followed though. Successive 1-0 defeats to Lancaster City and Bury away from home have seen The Blues returning to Warrington with no points to their name.

Head-to-Head:

This will be the first meeting between the sides.

One-to-Watch:

38-year-old South African Midfielder Dean Furman certainly brings experience to The Blues. Furman has been with Rylands for four years now, amassing over a century of appearances. Furman came through the ranks at Chelsea after moving to England, going on to feature in one league game for Rangers after heading north of the border. Furman also starred for the likes of Oldham Athletic in the Football League, accumulating over a century of appearances for The Latics. Other clubs he has played for include Bradford City, Doncaster Rovers, Carlisle United and SuperSport United in South Africa.
