PREVIEW: Shepshed Dynamo (A)

The Reds make the short trip across Charnwood tomorrow evening as we face Shepshed Dynamo in our 6th preseason friendly.

The preseason so far has seen a 2-0 win against Newark & Sherwood United on a straw pitch, followed by draws at home to Tamworth (1-1), Hinckley AFC (2-2) and Anstey Nomads (2-2). The latest outing saw a 2-1 victory at home to Corby Town on Saturday as Zak Goodson scored a brace in the final five minutes to snatch the win.

Shepshed have played four preseason games so far, most recently suffering a 5-0 defeat away to Eastwood at the weekend, with what appeared to be a side largely made up of trialists. A recent addition is a familiar face, in the shape of Josh Allen, who helped our Under 18s to a midweek league and cup double last season, as well as making a handful of starts for the first team before injury derailed his season.

Other results for Dynamo in preseason include a 1-0 win away to Newark Town, a 1-1 draw away to Allexton & New Parks and a 2-0 win versus Leicester Nirvana at Wreake Valley.

Kick off is 19:45 tomorrow evening, with entrance costing £7.00 for adults, £5.00 for concessions, £3.00 for 16-18 year olds and £1.00 for under 16s.
