Quorn welcome Leamington to Farley Way for the first time in 20 seasons as the Reds will be hoping to get back to winning ways in the FA Trophy.

Quorn’s Form:

After disappointment in Yorkshire, in which The Red’s lost 4-1 to Guiseley, there was hope when the Reds travelled for successive away games down to Northamptonshire to take on Kettering Town in the FA Cup. Unfortunately, despite a battling performance, it wasn’t to be with The Poppies taking the win 2-0 to advance to the next round.

The Opposition:

Leamington come into this game in some indifferent form. The Brakes also suffered FA Cup heartbreak having lost 3-0 away to Gainsborough Trinity. They had forced Gainsborough into a replay having secured a 1-1 draw last weekend. The Brakes last league game came away to Bishops Stortford, where they lost 3-1. The Brakes last win came in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup, where they beat Ilkeston Town 3-1.

One-to-Watch:

Kyle Finn is someone to watch out for. The 27-year-old Coventry City Academy graduate plays mainly on the wing or as an attacking midfielder. Kyle has chipped in with three goals so far this term. Finn has played for a number of clubs including Hereford, Stourbridge, Rushall Olympic, Tamworth and, most recently, Halesowen Town, before linking up with the Brakes in the summer, where he was named captain.   

Head-to-Head:

The two sides have met four times previously, all in the league. The first three meetings all finished 1-1, before the Brakes broke the streak with a 4-0 win at Farley Way in February 2007.
