Quorn travel to Lancaster for the first time for their second away game in the space of a week as they look to get the first three points of the season.
Quorn’s Form:
The Reds went to Warrington Rylands on Tuesday night looking for their first three points of the season. The team had secured a good point against newly promoted side Redcar Athletic and were hoping to build on a positive performance. Despite a battling performance, the Reds fell to a 1-0 defeat.
The Opposition:
Lancaster City have had a mixed start to the season. The Dollies started off their step three campaign with a 4-1 defeat away to Ashton United. Two home games followed with a clean sheet in a 1-0 win against Warrington Rylands and a 2-1 defeat against Hyde United. On Tuesday night, The Dollies endured a long away trip to Middlesborough to face Redcar Athletic. Unfortunately, The Dollies lost 3-1, which leaves them 17th in the table and two points ahead of The Reds.

One-to-Watch:
Simon Grand is certainly a player who has been around in football. The 42-year-old defender has had a stellar career including ranking up a considerable amount of experience in the football league aswell as non-league. Grand most notably played for Rochdale, Carlisle United, Grimsby Town, Morecambe and Aldershot Town. His non-league experience has taken him to clubs such as AFC Telford United, Barrow and Chester, making over a century of appearances with the Blues.
