The Methodists aim to make it three consecutive wins as they travel west to play Halesowen Town as both sides battle for a place in the playoffs.

Quorn’s Form:

Ryan Beswick’s side seem to be shaking off the January blues as they have won both of their games in February so far. This comes after a rough start to the year, only winning one of their four games in January, a 1-2 win away at Royston Town.

Last time out was a win against Bishop’s Stortford at home. Top goal scorer Zak Goodson netted another vital goal in the final minutes to keep the three points at Farley Way. This took his goal tally to an impressive sixteen goals.

That 1-0 triumph marked a second straight clean sheet, coming on the back of a 2-0 victory at home to Stamford.

The Opposition:

The Yeltz have suffered a minor blip in their own playoff push, losing their last two league matches, a 3-1 defeat away to Redditch United and 3-0 loss against Needham Market. Town's last win was an impressive 0-4 hammering of St. Ives Town.

That win against St. Ives was the fourth consecutive triumph for Halesowen, as they rose up the table and looked likely to match, or better, their fourth place finish from last season.

Despite the recent results, Halesowen are only five points away from Quorn. The Yeltz currently sit in seventh.

Head-to-head:

There is only one recorded fixture between the two sides, coming last October. The sides drew in an exciting fashion at Farley Way. Silvio Bello scored in stoppage time to make the final score 2-2.

One to watch:

The main man on the minds of Quorn this Saturday will likely be Jason Cowley. With League Two experience, as well as scoring two against Quorn in the reverse fixture, Cowley is certainly going to be a threat.

Cowley has made a mark on The Grove since signing in the summer from Hereford. He has scored twenty goals to make him the current top scorer in the League.
