Quorn face off against Gainsborough Trinity for the first time, looking to build on Saturdays result away to Lancaster City.

Quorn’s Form:

After a narrow defeat to Warrington Rylands, The Reds travelled for the second time in a week away from home. This time against The Dollies, who The Reds shared points with in a thrilling 2-2 draw. Goals from Jesse Friend, who was making his first start, and Jaiden Campbell-Ryce ensured The Reds headed home happy.

The Opposition:

Gainsborough Trinity make their first trip to Farley Way after a positive start to their campaign. The Holy Blues started with three points in a 2-0 win against Workington at home before falling to a 2-1 away defeat to Alfreton Town. The Holy Blues then demolished FC United of Manchester 3-0 away from home, before another demolition job at home against Stockton Town a few days later, beating them 4-1. Their most recent result was a narrow defeat to Bury, 1-0 at home at the weekend.

Head-to-Head:

The Reds have never faced Trinity in a competitive match before.

One-to-Watch:

Ashton Offler is certainly one to watch out for. The 25-year-old Derbyshire born central defender is in superb form for The Holy Blues and has three goals so far this term. Offler started his career at Matlock Town before being scouted by Sheffield United and spending time with the Blades U23s. After a brief loan spell with Guiseley, Offler briefly re-joined Matlock before signing with Grantham Town. Spells with Rushall Olympic, Stamford and Mickleover followed before joining up with The Holy Blues.
