NEWS: Junior Supporter Conduct
We are proud of the fantastic support our younger fans bring to Quorn Football Club and want Farley Way Stadium to remain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone. However, we have become increasingly concerned about some behaviour at recent matches and need to remind our younger supporters of the standards expected whilst attending games.
We would like everyone to understand that the club has a responsibility to manage spectator behaviour. If incidents continue, Quorn FC could face disciplinary action from the Football Association, which could have consequences for the club as a whole, including playing matches behind closed doors. We know the vast majority of our supporters behave responsibly, and we are asking for everyone's help to ensure that remains the case.
To help ensure the safety and enjoyment of all spectators, footballs are no longer permitted inside the stadium. Anyone found playing ball games while a match is in progress will be asked to stop immediately and will have the ball confiscated. Repeated breaches will result in a ban from future fixtures.
In addition, supporters must not enter the field of play before 5:30pm on Saturdays or at any time during a midweek matchday. Anyone entering the pitch without permission will be barred from the site.
We hope these measures will not be necessary and ask parents, guardians and supporters to help us reinforce these expectations. If behaviour does not improve, the club will have no option but to introduce a policy requiring all supporters under the age of 16 to be accompanied by an adult when attending matches.
We appreciate the support of our fans and thank everyone for helping us create a positive and welcoming matchday experience for players, officials, volunteers and spectators alike.
