NEWS: Divisional Alignments Announced
On Thursday afternoon, the Football Association announced the divisional alignments for the 2025/26 season. Quorn Football Club, who are set to embark on their first season in step three, have been placed in the Southern Football League Premier Central Division.
The Reds will be joined by a familiar face as fellow promoted side, Worcester City, will also join them. The Faithful will be playing in new surroundings though, having announced that they’ll be playing in the impressive Sixways Stadium for next season.
Other recent foes include both promoted sides from last season, Harborough Town and Spalding United. The Bees finished fifth in their debut season, losing out in the playoffs. The Tulips also put an impressive year together, finishing seventh and missing out on the playoffs by three points. Alvechurch, who were preseason opponents last year, finished 13th.
Reds supporters’ shortest trip of next season will be to Leicestershire side Barwell, who despite finishing in the bottom four, received a reprieve when Farsley Celtic were not granted a licence at step three. The longest trip will see a mammoth trek of 162 miles to near the Suffolk coast as Quorn will face Leiston, hopefully not a Tuesday night.
