FIXTURE NEWS: Alfreton Trip Marks Final Friendly

Quorn Football Club will complete their preseason preparations with a trip to Derbyshire to face National League North stalwarts Alfreton Town on Saturday the 2nd of August 2025 (3pm KO).

Also known as “The Reds”, Alfreton have spent the past decade in step two, following relegation from the top tier of Non-League Football, and haven’t played outside the top two tiers in over 20 years. In that time, the North Street club have reached the second round proper of the FA Cup three times, most recently losing 1-0 to Walsall in a replay, having initially held the Sadlers to a 0-0 draw.

Last season Alfreton finished 14th in the National League North, but with Quorn facing the team that would go on to win that division in preseason in each of the past two seasons, could this be Town’s year? Tickets can be bought in advance using the following link, please ensure that you select it’s for away support (though the match will not be segregated).
