SQUAD NEWS: More Young Blood for the Reds
Quorn Football Club have confirmed the loan signing of Ethan Young from Peterborough Sports. The 22 year old defender joins Ryan Beswick’s side with the Reds looking to maintain their place in the playoffs. Ethan spent his junior career in the academies of Lincoln City and Scunthorpe United, making his senior debut for “The Iron” in 2022, as they fought in vein to stave off relegation to the National League. After a handful of appearances in League Two and the National League, Young had a loan spell with Yaxley in the NPL Midlands, the season before Quorn moved back up to Step Four.
Spells in step three with Warrington Rylands, Alvechurch and Stamford followed, before a stint with local rivals Shepshed Dynamo last season. In the summer Young joined Sports, his hometown club, featuring in the starting eleven last month as The Turbines faced off with top of the league South Shields. The versatile defender has also had a loan spell with Downham Town this season. Ethan’s registration is in time to feature against Kettering Town this afternoon.
Welcome to Farley Way Ethan.
