Quorn Football Club have confirmed the departure of defender Jaiden Owen. The former Norwich City youngster leaves Farley Way after signing for the club during the summer. Owen impressed in the preseason friendly defeat against Spalding United, playing for the Tulips that night, but leaves the Reds after struggling to find regular minutes in the side. Jaiden made six substitute appearances for Quorn and will now team up with former Red Luke Cox at the New Manor Ground, signing with Ilkeston Town in time for their crucial match at home to Hyde United on Saturday.
