SQUAD NEWS: Fifield Recalled & More

Quorn Football Club can confirm several recent squad updates. Kettering Town have activated the recall in Kai Fifield’s loan, meaning he will return to the Poppies on Tuesday. The forward, who had been in fine form for the Reds, was not eligible for the match between the sides on Saturday.

Central defender Sam Warburton, who impressed during preseason and has had several dual-registrations for minutes, has been granted his release, after he was offered the opportunity to sign a contract with Boston United. Warburton will join up with the Pilgrims’ Under 23s. Everyone at the club would like to take this opportunity to wish him all the best for the future.

Finally, defender Kian Morrison has dual-registered with West Bridgford, where he had made three substitute appearances since joining. Morrison was handed a first start for the Nottinghamshire based side at the weekend as they snapped a four match losing streak with a 3-0 victory at home against Gedling Miners Welfare.
