SQUAD NEWS: Cox Out, Defender Joins NPL Rivals

Quorn Football Club have confirmed that defender Luke Cox has departed Farley Way, joining Ilkeston Town in time for their match with Avro tomorrow.

Cox joined in the summer of 2025, making 35 appearances last season, scoring three times, including a sensational overhead kick at home to St. Ives Town. Injury hampered his season and coincided with a downturn in form for the Reds as he broke his foot at Barwell in a festive fixture. Luke made 14 appearances this season, but only started seven matches as opportunities became limited. Everyone at Quorn would like to take this opportunity to thank Luke for his time as a Red and wish him all the best for the future.
