Quorn will make the trip up to Greater Manchester to take on Hyde United, hoping to build upon a first home win in the league at the weekend.
Quorn’s Form:
The Methodists come into this game after a brilliant performance and clean sheet in a 3-0 home win against Workington on Saturday. Terell Pennant and Billy Kee were once again on the score sheet after their goal contributions against Bamber Bridge in our last away game. This marked Quorn’s first home win of the season in the league. The Reds have now taken seven points from the last nine and sit eighth in the form table based on the last six matches.
The Opposition:
The Tigers come into this sat 15th in the form table based on the last six matches. Their most recent win came on Saturday the third of October where they played out a 2-1 victory at home against Stockton Town in front of a crowd of 701. The last two for The Tigers have been away which they have found tough, losing 2-0 to Curzon Ashton and 1-0 to Cleethorpes Town.
Head-to-Head:
The two teams will be facing off against each other for the first time.
One-to-Watch:
Tom Walker is a name which may be familiar. The 30-year-old midfielder predominantly plays off the left but can play in the centre. Walker started his career off at Bolton Wanderers, making his debut in the Championship coming off the bench against Leeds United for The Trotters. In total he made 20 appearances for Bolton before moving onto Bury on loan in league one. Walker then had spells at Salford City, Stockport County and Harrogate Town, to name a few, his most recent spell coming at Chorley. Walker scored his first goal of the season in The Tigers 2-1 win against Stockton Town.
