Quorn hope to make it five undefeated in the league as they travel south to play Bishop’s Stortford.

 Quorn’s Form:

Quorn seems to have turned a corner now with goals flowing throughout the team after a patch of inconsistency that saw them knocked out of both cup competitions. The Methodists have gone undefeated in October in the league and worked their way into third place.

Last time out Silvio Bello netted his first league goal of the season late on to rescue a point at home for the Reds against Halesowen Town, this ended a streak of wins for Quorn who had been able to claim victory in the prior three games.

The Methodists are currently the second highest goal scorers in the division behind only first placed Spalding United.

 The Opposition:

Bishop’s Stortford are coming into this game after back-to-back losses against Spalding United and Worcester City in the league however they thrashed Billericay Town by five goals in their most recent match in the FA Trophy.

Prior to the defeats in the league Bishop’s Stortford had gone four undefeated, beating the likes of Redditch United and Needham Market. Currently sitting 11th in the League, the Blues still threaten the play off places this season and are the fifth top goal scorers in the division.

Head-to-head:

This will be the two Clubs first match against one another.

 One to watch:

Saleem Akanbi is a real threat to defenders scoring four times in the league so far this season. Previously of Cambridge United, Akanbi signed for the Blue’s in July from Chelmsford City and has already become a firm favourite at the Hertfordshire club.
