NEWS: Welcome Barny
Quorn Football Club have confirmed the appointment of Barny Wharin as Strength & Conditioning Coach. Barny, who spent last season with West Ham United, becomes the second offseason addition to Ryan Beswick’s staff, following Sports Therapist Tom Hotchkiss, with a first team coach set to be named to replace the departed Ryan Conneely.
Barny spent a season with the Hammers as part of his Sports Science degree at Loughborough University, where the 22 year old is about to start the final year of his course. I keen cyclist and runner, Barny is also a fan of Tottenham Hotspur and will juggle his Quorn commitments alongside Loughborough University’s Hockey team.
“I’m really passionate about getting the very best out of athletes from a physical performance perspective” stated Barny, continuing “I can’t wait to get going at Quorn and apply everything I’ve seen, done and learned over the last few years into having a really successful season”.
