NEWS: Tom Allsopp Injury Update

Quorn Football Club are pleased to confirm that goalkeeper Tom Allsopp has been discharged from hospital and is recovering well at home. Tests on Tom’s spine, neck and spleen all came back clear and he was able to return to the West Midlands on Sunday afternoon. The heroic shot-stopper continues to deal with the effects of a severe concussion but is looking forward to returning to work in the near future.

Tom, and the club, would like to put on record our sincere thanks to the emergency services for their rapid response, and to the medical staff of both clubs, especially Enfield Town’s Team Doctor for helping him through such an horrific injury. Tom also added that he was incredibly grateful for the messages wishing him well and confirmed that he is looking forward to rejoining his team mates and getting back out on the pitch.
