FA CUP: Reds Draw Sherwood Colliery at Home

The Football Association have announced the draw for the 1st Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup. Quorn have been handed a home tie with Sherwood Colliery, the time and date of the match will be announced shortly, but is expected to be either Friday the 29th of August, or Saturday the 30th.

Sherwood have cruised through the first two rounds of qualifying, defeating Bugbrooke St. Michaels 4-1 at home in the Extra-Preliminary Round, and upsetting Anstey Nomads in the preliminary round. Lewis Gibbens scored a consolation goal for the Nomads, but Sherwood were comfortably 3-0 ahead going into stoppage time.
